This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website at wsgsearch.com or engage us for recruiting services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site or engaging us for Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
Identity and contact data: name, business email address, phone number, job title, company name, and LinkedIn profile when you book a call, fill in a form, or correspond with us.
Engagement data: the role you are hiring for, role specifications, target compensation, and any information you share with us during the search process.
Candidate data (when you are a candidate): name, email, phone, resume, work history, references, compensation expectations, and any other information you share with us during the search process.
Site usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, time on page, referring URL, and similar information collected automatically when you visit wsgsearch.com.
Cookie data: see Section 3 below.
We do not collect or process Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, or financial account information through the Site.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide and operate the Services, including conducting executive search, contingent search, and related recruiting work.
Communicate with you about an engagement, scheduled call, candidate match, or other recruiting matter.
Maintain our network of candidates and clients for current and future engagements.
Improve the Site and the Services based on usage patterns.
Comply with our legal obligations and protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Cookies and Tracking
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure traffic, and improve the Site. We use:
Essential cookies that the Site needs to function.
Analytics cookies through Google Analytics, which collects aggregated data on how visitors use the Site (page views, session duration, traffic sources). Google Analytics data is retained per Google’s policies.
Calendly tracking when you book a call through our embedded Calendly widget. Calendly handles your scheduling data per Calendly’s privacy policy.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect Site functionality.

We use the following third-party services to operate the Site and the business. These providers process your data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments:

Recruiterflow: applicant tracking system used to manage searches. See recruiterflow.com/privacy.
Data Sharing
We share your personal information only as needed to provide the Services or as required by law. Categories of recipients:
Clients (when you are a candidate): with your consent, we share your resume, profile, and screening notes with the hiring company for the role you are interested in.
Candidates (when you are a client): we share role-relevant information with candidates we present, including the company name, role, and any information you have authorized us to share.
Service providers: the third-party services listed in Section 5, only to the extent needed for them to perform their function.
Legal authorities: if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Wedoe Search Group or others.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain our network for future engagements, and comply with legal obligations. Specifically:
Active engagement data: retained for the duration of the engagement plus seven years.
Candidate profiles: retained in our network for as long as you remain reachable and have not requested deletion.
Site usage and analytics data: retained per Google Analytics’ default retention settings (currently 14 months).
You may request deletion at any time. See the next section.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate information.
Delete your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations.
Opt out of marketing emails (every email contains an unsubscribe link).
California residents (CCPA / CPRA): you also have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

International Users and Children’s Privacy
Wedoe Search Group is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. The Site and Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Site or engage us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Site or engaging us, you consent to this transfer.
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws that require additional disclosures (such as GDPR), please contact eric@wsgsearch.com for the additional information required by your local law.
Wedoe Search Group provides recruiting services for adult professionals. The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 16, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
